Britains Gold (That Was)

If Brown had sold our gold today, it would have given us an extra £10 billion, as he sold it at rock bottom prices.
When he did it, you just know he knew nothing about basic world economics. Its not for selling, its to tell the world that your currency is backed up with this precious commodity, that could ( not would) be sold if times are very difficult.
Just because he has a economics degree does not mean he understands the subject, as we can see he does not.

Top Gear

I wonder why Top Gear has been voted Britain's most popular TV show.

Is it because its not PC. or its topic is anti flat earth.

Its a great show that is difficult not to watch. Mrs N normally hates this type of show but if she starts watching she just cannot put it down.

Many at the BBC must hate it and wish it was not on.

Long live Top Gear and the freedom it stands for.

Biased BBC

I would commend everyone to read this http://biased-bbc.blogspot.com/

The way the BBC is just following its own left wing agenda is very disturbing.

We are not getting any balance as you can see over and over again.

The Met Office

The Met Office said about 3 weeks ago that 2009 will be one of the very warm years or something like that. I thought how can they say that with another month to go, and now look at it.

I really feel the Met Office like the BBC has its own agenda. It has predicted on some very dodgy figures global warming and wants to promote it at every opportunity.

I think from what I can tell we are moving back to cooler weather. How do i know this. by looking out of the window and comparing the actual weather to that I have known all my life.

I personally cannot detect ANY signs of global warming only changing weather patterns.

We started cooling again from 1999. like so much of nature we cannot control it and it sorts itself out.
The picture is from last year. we have over a foot this year.

Copenhagen

Shambolic and a complete mess.
That's what happens when you try and promote unproven facts.

I see the Met office is accused of picking what weather stations it uses to promote global warming. When asked for the base data the would not give it. It stinks this is not science but propaganda for us to pay more tax. in my opinion.

How does Labour have ANY support

Things are so bad I just do not understand the level of support Labour still has. They should have cut spending at least 3 years ago, as now we are just drifting down and down.
Some of the press led by the BBC just have not gripped the situation at all. They are playing it all down for Labour. Labour can only spend, never save, earn or cut. If Labour are voted back or a hung Parliament the IMF will be in control the next day.

Is the Tory Party Too Wet ?

I think it is, it is never going to sort out any of our problems with its Heath like aproach.

English Rugby

I think Brian Moor expressed most real fans concerns.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/england/6575876/Brian-Moore-England-fans-being-exploited.html

In all the games in all the home countries the pa noise and all the music when a try is scored is just taking away the honesty of the game. I would not go to a match with all this add on rubbish.

That drumming at the Ireland match was *********

Move to the Right

I notice the Nick Griffen of the BNP is going to stand for election in Barking.
Can the Conservative party not see that because they are seen on the left by many people it is allowing the BNP to make ground. The Conservatives must shift to the right before its too late. The more Cameron does rather than say the more he is putting off many in his party.
The open primary for example is a con if all the candidates are put forward by central office. What Cameron is trying to do is what Blair did and that is to have more MPs totally loyal to the leader, so he can just do what he wants. We have had enough of dictators.

Glasgow Election

The real disaster here was for the Lib/Dems.

They came 6th.

The BNP had 1,013 votes

The Lib/Dems had only 474 votes

This is a major disaster for them.

To have less than half the votes of the BNP just shows how far they have slipped.

The Conservative Conference

What the last 12 years have shown is that big government command economy just does not work.

The tories have laid out what they are going to try and do.

If they achieve half of it, it will be far more than labour have. labour have been a one man band first with Blair and then with Brown and both have failed that is plain for anyone to see.

I see the Tories as more of a team led by Cameron, and that is how government should be.

I can now see how we are going to tackle the problems.

A very good conference for Cameron.

A move in the right direction for the country.

Labours Lost It

So says The Sun.

It has come out for David Cameron saying that the way he has led his party proves he has the tough attitude to lead the country.

And so say all of us.

Has the Penny Dropped for Labour

At last I see they are cutting spending. It wont be enough and it must be bad for this move before the election.

Brown must have fully believed he could con the people again.

But you know people will still vote Labour at the next general election.

New Leader Of The Labour Party

When did Mandelson become leader. ?

I must have missed it.

The New Mayor of Doncaster

This has been published by the Mayors office. He started in June.

I think we would all like to see this sort of thing. so good luck to him.

Priorities

The Mayor is committed to improving the borough and ensuring residents are offered the best possible services.

Progress / Key decisions since taking office

  • Appointed a mixed Cabinet of committed Councillors

  • Cut Mayor's salary from around £73,000 to £30,000 per year

  • Axed Mayor's chauffeur driven car (approximately £6,000)

  • Stopped future funding for gay pride event (£3,000)

  • Stopped council newspaper Doncaster News

  • Directed that two children's social worker posts be reinstated at Doncaster Royal Infirmary to specifically assist children in hospital and to help detect abuse

  • Axed membership of Local Government Association and Local Government Information Unit (approximately £80,000)

  • Where possible, stopped funding for translation services and instead encourage people to learn English

  • Cut twinning ties with five towns saving approximately £4,000+

  • Written to the Electoral Commission to cut the number of Councillors from 63 to 21 which could save upwards of £1,000,000

Future priorities

  • Lower Council Tax by cutting extortionate levels of bureaucracy and other waste

  • End malpractice and mismanagement in the council

  • Hold a referendum on the Mayoral governance of Doncaster

  • Reduce the number of councillors from 63 to 21

  • Conduct a review of the A638 Quality Bus Corridor and the traffic mayhem around the Dome

  • Scrap politically correct non-jobs and encourage the former employees to seek meaningful employment

  • Encourage every school to opt out of local authority control – money should go directly to schools to raise deteriorating educational standards

  • Ensure police concentrate resources on catching criminals

  • Introduce zero tolerance of anti-social behaviour and impose penalties for such everyday practices as using foul language in public and spitting in the street

  • Halt the architectural vandalism of Doncaster and protect the town’s heritage

Norwich North

Nothing to say, but at last we can now see an end to this Labour government. The results are far worse than Labour excepted.

I think they have got a good MP.

Monday, July 20, 2009

Norwich North

Have you noticed how the Labour spin ( lie ) machine has the media all saying the
" the Tories are expected to win Norwich North"

Well it is not a forgone conclusion it is just labour preparing the ground to take to spotlight off their loss.

By elections can come up with all sort of results but the key issue is how many votes Labour has, no matter who wins.

Norwich has nothing to thank Labour for.

Every generation has to learn about Labour the hard way.

Labour have Mugged Britain

When you thing about it I feel that Labour has conned and mugged the British people with the English in particular.

I cannot wait to be rid of them and we start re building our country.

When Will They Tell Us

When will Labour tell us how they are going to get us out of the mess they have made of things.
All they can do is smear anyone who does not agree.
The BBC just acts as their mouthpiece.
Just what are the Labour plans.
When will we know.

Great Tory Win in Norfolk

The Conservatives have increased their majority on the County Council.

Labour are now in third place behind the Lib/Dem's.

The people have told Brown what they think of him.

He is seen as the problem not the solution.

Monday, June 1, 2009

Who to Vote For

If you are in doubt I would recomend Tory.

If you are totaly anti Tory then UKIP.

The results on Friday will be very interesting.

How ever you look at it it will not be good news for Labour.

The Rotten Parliament

We need a General Election as soon as possible, September or October at the latest.
The new parliament should pick the new Speaker not the current 'Rotten Parliament'
When Parliament has totally failed only the people can decide.
If Brown will not do it the The Queen should step in and make it happen.

Cameron Leads The Way

Why has Brown so far failed to act on his ministers. Whilst Cameron is getting on with action, Brown again wants more reports and meetings and is doing nothing.

They need to sort out who has done what. Get rid of those who have gone too far the call an election for September.

Labour are just hoping it will all go away.

Labour Has Failed the Country-- 2

They way the have allowed this expense thing to go on without changing it is proof again.

The role of The Speaker is at the root of this and he must go.

Friday, April 24, 2009

Labour Has Failed The Country

They could have faced up to the problems in the Budget but they have failed to do so.
They have put party before country.

Every Labour government ends in a mess but not as bad as this.

Public spending should have been cut NOW.

Sunday, April 12, 2009

Smeargate

Well we now know what is at the heart of this Labour government.

Brown and Blair before him have set the tone of their government.

We now see the rotten core and this man is a civil servant up to his neck in the Labour party.

Just how much more do we have to take from the vile party.

Double Standards of The BBC

Do you remember how the BBC attacked the Tories when they were last in power over sleaze. Labour have been far worse yet they are hardly mentioned and never attacked.

The BBC never keeps to its charter and needs to be reformed.

Where is The Man ?

I asked " Where is The Man ? "who would come forward with an understanding of what Labour has done.

Daniel Hannan knows what they have done.

Is he the man ?

The Bank of England Speaks

The Bank of England has basically told the Labour government that is is spending to much and we cannot afford it.

So will they stop, No.

They are determined to leave office with the country in ruins.

Why does every generation have to learn about Labour the hard way.

It Grows on Trees.

The way labour is spending money it does not have you would think it grows on trees.
Just when are they going to wake up and lead the way by stop spending money it does not have.
Mrs Thatcher love her or hate her. she would never have let this happen.
We need people who have their feet on the ground to lead us not those with either their head in the clouds or buried in the sand.

Thursday, March 19, 2009

Dumbed Down Newsnight

The way Lord Turner was asked about his new proposals for the banks was more like a fireside chat.
There was no detailed analysis of his proposals no cross examination from other people, it was just so weak.

It is not the programme it used to be before its Labour friends came to power.

If only it attacked like it used to attack the Tories when they were in power.

Climate Change.

If you are like me, are very sceptical about climate change.
Follow this web site for an alternative view.

http://wattsupwiththat.com/category/climate_change/

Do you know that the full method of how the data is arrived at will not be released to the people that are concerned they have got it wrong. Why do you think that is. ???

Dropping Litter

I see Bill Bryson want to fine more people for dropping litter.

Having been involved in Shopping Centre Management, It is no use keep blaming and punishing the public.
It just wont work.
Who ever is responsible for clearing litter, they need to be far more pro active than we are in Britain.
If I was running a town or city centre I would have 24 Hour litter picking. it would be non stop.
For the countryside the same, teams of people going round just clearing any litter.
In time as people always find a litter free area the dropping gets less and less.
OK have fines for the most blatant problems but they should be the last resort not the first.
I know I have done and proved it.
If my litter pickers saw someone dropping litter they went up to them and said. " Thanks for dropping that, you are keeping me in a job". They never had to speak to the same person twice.

Where is The Man

Who will lead us out of this mess.
Not Labour for sure.
We need a Winston Churchill.
Britain has become soft and an easy touch. We need strength not weakness. We need Leadership.
Who will fill that roll. ?

Brown Must Carry The Can

"Gordon Brown helped fuel Britain’s banking crisis by pressuring the City regulator not to intervene and stop reckless lending," Lord Turner, the head of the Financial Services Authority, said.

So there we have it. Brown instructed the FSA to have a light touch and helped fuel the chain of events that has led to the recession.

He should take responsibility and go, along with his party.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

The State of Labour

Labour has ceased to be civilised, for it has no clear vision of the meaning of this civility.
It is no longer good, for it has lost sight of the common good.
This recession may be global, but it is Labour’s fault that the United Kingdom is the worst place nation in the western world to cope with its effects.
Labour has become the embodiment of that for which it always despised the Conservatives: it is now the undoubted party of unemployment, recession, inflation and increased poverty.
Labour is seduced by celebrity and beguiled by vanity.

How long to the General Election

Labour Never Learn

Labour appear to be unable to do what needs to be done.
They are just spending money, that does not exist any more.

Just when are they going to cut public spending.

I think they will leave it for the Tories to do that for them.

It has been proved yet again Labour can only spend, never earn.

A pity a whole new generation has had to learn the hard way as I did in the 60s & 70s.

Friday, February 13, 2009

BBC Soft on Labour

Just how can the Labour government get away with all this.
Do you remember how the BBC led the attack on John Majors government.
Where are the BBC now. Labour and the BBC are one, as far as I am concerned .
The BBC hates to criticise Labour, they all have a pained look on their faces when they have to, as you do when you have to tell a friend something they don't want to hear.
Come on media get stuck in we need to be rid of them as soon as possible before its to late

Monday, February 9, 2009

Companies HQs Move Abroad

Do you remember what Britain used to be open for business ie. pre- labour government.

Well the latest to move is BOOTS yes Boots the chemist, from Nottingham to Switzerland.

More and more companies are moving to obtain a better tax deal. and a company friendly environment. The list is getting longer.

Can you blame them.

Again Labour only knows how to spend never earn.

On Yer Bike.

I hope this is used by the Media and BBC as much as Norman Tebbits on your bike.

Duel Standards of The BBC

Why does Ross who caused such offence ON AIR possibly broke the law have a 3 month ban. Against Thatcher who made an offensive remark to some by using a word IN PRIVATE be sacked.
Its just not consistent

I accept that some words and phrases are now offencive I understand that.
But those same people who are offended should remember that we used these words every day in the past as just part of our normal life. Not as racist comments but just words we had grown up with.
In Thatchers case I would describe her as careless not offensive in this case.
Younger people who have been drilled in the equality topic should remember that older people have not, and we do not have the same horror of such words.
I think we are more tolerant of such things where as today people are so easily offended.

Question Time

I find it strange that everyone is insulted by Carol Thatcher using the word Golliwog. Yet

A person asking a question in the hall says that the reason foreign workers are used is because they work harder than the British, no one bats an eyelid at this racist remark and he is allowed to say it unchecked.

Sauce for the goose comes to mind.

Go 4th

If you want to see how nasty Labours supporters are just read this new blog by Prescott.

They just have no idea about real life, or concern for 'ordinary' people.

They are spiteful to anyone who does not support Labour.

Read and learn.

Paying Off Our Debts until 2030

The IMF has forecast that Britain will suffer more than other country.

Brown has the cheek to go around crowing on how good he is.

He is no friend of Britain.

Monday, January 26, 2009

The Independent Bank of England !!!!!

The reason Brown gave for making the BOE so called independent was so it could work independently of government.

What he actually wanted was that labour could work independently of the BOE. as this is what has happened.

He did not want the BOE looking over his shoulder he wanted to distance himself from it.

He then made sure that his place men would be in the majority on the monetary committee, so he could pull any strings from a distance.

If you think this is not true then just look at the facts of what has happened.

He has been a law unto himself as I am sure Blair kept away from him.

He must carry the can for Britain being less prepared than any country for the current recession.

What Crazy Ideas For labours New Year

They are at it again.

They are now starting the persecution of fat people.

Why do they not stop spending on all their silly ideas. Cut taxes for the people and concentrate on trying to sort out the financial mess they have made.
